Thesis Statement: SLUMS ARE OVER POPLUATED AREA’S THAT INCLUDE POVERTY, POOR SANATATION, AND IS CAUSING URBAN CHALLENGES All OVER THE WORLD.
　
1.) INTRODUCTION
A.) HOOK: SLUMS CAN BE STOPPED IF MORE PEOPLE KNEW ABOUT THEM.
B.)SLUMS ARE CROWED AREA’S THAT ARE MISSING BASIC LIFE NEED’S.
C.) SLUMS ARE OVER POPLUATED AREA’S THAT INCLUDE POVERTY, POOR SANATATION, AND IS CAUSING URBAN CHALLENGES All OVER THE WORLD.
2.) DEFENDABLE POINT # 1
A.) Poverty in slums is very serious because a lot of the people in slums live their because they earn very little to no money each day.
B.) “ Slum life is cheap (inexpensive) with less than a dollar you can survive and Kibera is a good place to live if you need to earn that dollar a day.” (source 2)
C.) this means that if you are earning less than a dollar you can’t really afford much , so you are probably living under poverty.
3.) DEFENDABLE POINT # 2
A.) Slum life comes with poor sanitation because of the many challenges they face with they’re water and land.
B-1.) “muddy swamp of plastic bags obstructs the entrance to the latrine. it’s a collection of what’s know in slums vernacular as (flying toilets) -flimsy bags filled with human waste.
B-2.) the water that goes through the slums and the water they use are the same one that is covered with mud and human waste.
C.) So basically if the water goes throughout the whole slum and is covered in urine and defecate then the condition of this water is unsanitary.
4.) Defendable point # 3
A.) Slums are causing urban challenges not just where there is slums, but everywhere in the world.
B-1.) “solutions to the problems caused by the urbanization of the world’s population are certainly need. The prospect of ever-larger cities alarms many government around the world.”
B-2.)The world needs solutions, so they can fix urbanization all around the world.
C.) That if we don’t start getting answers on the urbanization problems across the whole world there is going to be huge cities and around those huge cities slums all over the world.
5.) Conclusion
A.) If people get more aware on slums and what slums are causing the slums may decrease.
B.)SLUMS ARE OVER POPLUATED AREA’S THAT INCLUDE POVERTY, POOR SANATATION, AND IS CAUSING URBAN CHALLENGES.
D.) Do you really want future generations to be living under these circumstances knowing slums could have be stopped if only the word on slums was spread.
